Une \u00e9tude de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de York a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 la pr\u00e9sence de TFA dans 98 % des \u00e9chantillons pr\u00e9lev\u00e9s dans 32 rivi\u00e8res d&rsquo;Angleterre, du Pays de Galles, d&rsquo;\u00c9cosse et d&rsquo;Irlande du Nord.<\/p>\n<p>Le TFA est un produit chimique persistant qui se d\u00e9compose lentement dans la nature et s&rsquo;accumule au fil du temps.<\/p>\n<p>Des scientifiques allemands \u00e9tudient la toxicit\u00e9 du TFA pour la reproduction \u00e0 partir d&rsquo;\u00e9tudes animales. <!--nextpage-->Cet acide se forme lors de la d\u00e9gradation d&rsquo;autres substances synth\u00e9tiques utilis\u00e9es dans les pesticides et les r\u00e9frig\u00e9rants.
